5.1.10 The Smart Screen

Pressing the SMART SCREEN button in the
main menu opens the SMART FUNCTIONS
window (

Fig. 124

).

In this window, the entire instrument is repre-
sented graphically.
The representation of bottle positions and
colors on the screen corresponds to the geo-
metrical arrangement and color coding of the
bottles in the instrument.

Retort status line
The status line displays the actual temperature, the actual
pressure, and the current fill level in the retort

Temperature display
The target temperature of the retort is displayed beside the
retort and the target temperature of the paraffin appears below
the paraffin baths.

• System bottles (15) are designated S1-S9.
• RTU-bottles (10) are designated D1-D6.
• The reagent contained in the bottle is identified on the bottle symbol.
• The displayed levels in the bottles indicate the approximate level to which the

bottles are filled.

• In the display, the level in the condensate bottle (14) is shown proportionally

according to the number of cycles. When the maximum number of cycles is reached,
a message indicating that it needs to be emptied appears.

• If a bottle contains a reagent that has exceeded a warning value, this is shown

with an exclamation mark on a yellow background. For this function to take effect,
threshold values must have been set.
