Cleaning and Maintenance

• Refill and reconnect the bottles once cleaned.
Make sure the bottle lids are tight and the bottles are properly seated in their home position

at the rear of the reagent module.

• While the system bottles are outside of the reagent cabinet, wipe the stainless steel inner walls

of the reagent cabinet with a cloth moistened with a mild detergent.

• Empty and clean the RTU-bottles (

).

Using a bottle brush and a laboratory detergent in warm water.

The system bottles must be properly engaged in the home position in the con-

nection manifolds at the rear inner wall of the reagent module. Failure to cor-

rectly plug reagent containers into the manifold will cause an interruption to

the processing run and may result in spilling of reagents.

The level can be identified by simply looking through the RTU bottles if these

are cleaned regularly to remove clinging contamination.

Leica RTU-bottles must never be cleaned in a dishwasher.

The reagent containers are NOT dishwasher-proof!
