HEADER ATTACHMENT/DETACHMENT

5.4.2

Detaching Header from Lexion Combine

To detach a header from combine, follow these steps:

1.

Choose a level area. Position header slightly off the
ground. Stop engine, and remove key.

DANGER

To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected
start-up or fall of raised machine, always stop engine,
remove key, and engage safety props before going
under header for any reason. Refer to the combine
operator’s manual for instructions regarding the
proper use and storage of header safety props.

CAUTION

Stop engine and remove key from ignition before
leaving operator's seat for any reason. A child or
even a pet could engage an idling machine.
