6.7.6 Flighting Extensions
Installing Flighting Extensions
To install flighting extensions to the adapter auger, follow
these steps:
1. Place the flighting extensions (A) outboard of the auger
flighting (B). Tighten hardware finger tight making sure
that carriage bolt heads are on the crop side (inside)
and nuts (C) are on the outside of the flighting

2. Stretch flighting extensions (A) to fit auger tube. Use
slotted holes on flighting extension to get the best fit
around the auger tube.

3. With flighting in desired place, mark holes (A) (three
per extension), and drill 3/8 in.
(76 mm) holes in
auger tube.
