14. Tension on chain (A) should be such that hand-force

deflects the chain 1/8 in. (3 mm) at midspan.

15. Tighten bolts (B) to 75 ft·lbf (102·m).

16. Position upper cover (B) onto drive and secure with six

screws (A).

Reel Drive U-Joint

The reel drive U-joint allows movement between the two reels. This allows either reel to move independently.

Lubricate the U-joint in accordance with the requirements. Refer to

6.3.6 Lubrication and Servicing, page 262

U-joint should be replaced if severely worn or damaged. Refer to

Removing U-Joint, page 363
