Break-In Inspection

A break-in inspection has the operator check over belts, fluids, and a general machine inspection looking for loose
hardware or other areas of concern. The break-in inspection ensures that motors, pumps, belts, etc are operated in
such a way that gives them the ability to operate for an extended period without requiring service or replacement.

Preseason/Annual Service

Perform the following the beginning of each operating season

CAUTION

• Review this manual to refresh your memory on safety and operating recommendations.

• Review all safety decals and other decals on the header and note hazard areas.

• Be sure all shields and guards are properly installed and secured.

Never alter or remove safety

equipment.

• Be sure you understand and have practiced safe use of all controls. Know the capacity and operating

characteristics of the machine.

• Check the first aid kit and fire extinguisher. Know where they are and how to use them.

End of Season Service

Do the following at the end of each operating season.

CAUTION

Never use gasoline, naphtha or any volatile material for cleaning purposes. These materials may be toxic
and/or flammable.

CAUTION

Cover cutterbar and knife guards to prevent injury from accidental contact.
