OPERATION

To calibrate the Auto Header Height system, follow
these steps:

1.

Set the flotation on the header and adapter package
(refer to operator’s manual for instructions). Position
fore-aft and center-link in mid span.

2.

Combine engine should be running. There is no need
to have separator or feeder house engaged.

3.

On right-hand console, set header control switch (A) to
"HT" (this is Auto Header Height mode).

On the propulsion lever, hold the lower switch (A) down
until the adapter and header are lowered. Hold the
switch down for five seconds.

5.

Engage header raise switch (A) and hold the header
raise switch up. The header should stop at about the
halfway point. Keep holding the header raise switch,
and the header will automatically rise until the feeder
reaches the top of its limitations. The Auto Header
Height system is now calibrated.

NOTE:

If float was set heavier to complete ground
calibration procedure, adjust to recommended
operating float after the calibration is complete.
