Type 1 Interrupts
If the Interrupt Program:
Then the Control:
Does not generate axis motion
executes the interrupt program and then
continues executing the part program as
normal regardless of the location that
the interrupt program was executed.
Generates axis motion
returns the tool to the endpoint of the
next fully unexecuted block and
continues executing the part program
from this point.

CAUTION: If the interrupt is executed in the middle of a
block’s execution, and there is axis motion in the interrupt
program then the control will never reach the end point of the
interrupted block. Execution will transfer to the end point of
the following block. This applies to type 1 interrupts only.
