Tutorial Step Seven
Exporting the Title
Now it is time to export the title.
SpruceUp Trial Version Note: The Trial version of SpruceUp allows
only two exports. It is possible that these have already been exercised,
preventing you from exporting this title. Upgrade to the full version to
enjoy the complete benefits of SpruceUp. See the Registering SpruceUp
topic for details.
Exporting a title is the action of having SpruceUp compile it into a DVD compliant format
and write it to CD-R/RW, DVD-R or variations, or to your hard drive.
Press the Export button in the Main Control Area or use the keyboard shortcut of Ctrl + 3.
The Export window displays.
The left half summarizes the title currently being created. The most important issue is the
project's size. Verify that this fits on the media you intend to write to. The disc icon located
above the Main Control area is customizable to match the media you intend to use. See the
Preferences topic for details.
The right half of the dialog actually configures the export. The Advanced button selects
whether you see the basic options or the advanced options. For this tutorial we are only
going to cover the common items – see the Export topic for details.
To export you need to set the following:
• Choose the device to write to.
• Select the additional items to include with the export.
