Using the Style Gallery

SpruceUp contains a Style Gallery setting that defines the drive location SpruceUp looks to
for background and button assets. You can set up several of these galleries, based on
themes or clients, and simply select the one to use for the current project. Selecting a new
Style Gallery causes the existing buttons and backgrounds to be replaced with those from
the new gallery. SpruceUp remembers the last Style Gallery used and automatically loads it
when started.
You can switch the Style Gallery while creating a project. Buttons and backgrounds within
the project do not have to be displayed at all times in the Media Gallery. The actual files
must, however, still reside in the Style Gallery used when they were originally added to the
project.

Note: When loading projects, SpruceUp does not load the Style

Gallery used when the project was created. It loads the Style Gallery in use
the last time the SpruceUp ran, or the current one if SpruceUp is already
running.

Select the Style Gallery by either clicking the file cabinet icon in the upper right corner of
the Media Gallery, or clicking the menu bar's File then Style Directory. Either method
opens the Style Gallery dialog.

Either type in the directory you want to use or press the

button to browse to the

directory.
Once you have selected the directory, SpruceUp looks for two sub-directories:
Backgrounds and Buttons. If they do not exist, SpruceUp creates them.
