if changes have been made to the project since it was last saved (or has
never been saved). You cannot export an unsaved project.

Save As... – Ctrl + Shift + S

Use this to name and save the current project. SpruceUp prompts you to name it and
select the folder to keep it in. Use this for new projects and existing projects where
you need to have a second project, either for a backup or as a different version.

Preferences... – Ctrl + 7

Use this to access the Preferences dialog. This dialog includes settings for the video
standard you use (NTSC/525 or PAL/625), customizing the Media Size Indicator, and
the DVD decoder to use while simulating projects.

Style Gallery – Ctrl + E

Opens the Style Gallery dialog. This is where you select the Style Gallery, defining
where SpruceUp looks for background and button assets. See the Style Gallery topic
for details.

Recent File List

This area lists the eight most recent projects created on SpruceUp. Use Open to
locate projects not on this list.

Exit – Alt + F4

Select this to close the current project and exit SpruceUp. You are prompted to save
the project if you have not already done that.

Edit Pull Down

The Edit pull down contains the following functions:

Undo – Ctrl + Z

Use this to go back a step, undoing the last action. There are 30 levels of undo
available.

Redo – Ctrl + Y

Use this to go forward a step, redoing what you just undid.

Cut – Ctrl + X

Use this to delete the currently selected item. The item is placed in a buffer that is
read from with the Paste function. Note that this differs from Delete, which does not
write to the Paste buffer. All items are cut with multiple items selected.

Copy – Ctrl + C

Use this to make a copy of the currently selected item. It is placed in a buffer read
from with the Paste function. This is most useful when you need to duplicate an item
in a different menu. All items are copied with multiple items selected.

Paste – Ctrl + V

Use this to read the item(s) from the cut/copy buffer, placing the item within the
current menu. You can paste an item multiple times.

Duplicate – Ctrl + D

Use this to make a copy of the currently selected item, placing it as close to the upper
left-hand corner of the menu as possible. This is useful when duplicating items within
the same menu. With multiple items selected, only the item outlined in red is
duplicated.

Select All – Ctrl + A

Use this to select all items in the current menu.
