Button Navigation

SpruceUp monitors button placement and automatically assigns a navigation flow to them,
based on horizontal vs. vertical placement. The flow automatically "wraps around" - for
example, if you keep pressing the left arrow, the highlight jumps to the right button once
the last left button is reached.

If you move buttons around after placing them, SpruceUp re-assigns the navigation flow to
match the new layout. Use the navigation arrows to test the flow between buttons.

Tip: If button navigation seems to "stutter" on certain buttons, exit

simulation and recheck to see if multiple buttons are overlapping. This can
happen with the Clip Properties'
Make Buttons from Chapter Points
feature.

Movie End Action

Once a movie finishes playing or you press the simulator's Root Menu button, the menu
you were last viewing displays. An exception is if the movie has buttons linked to it in
several menus – in that case you are returned to the last menu with a link to the movie.
Pressing the Title Menu button takes you the first menu.

Simulating Titles with a First Play Movie

Titles with a movie assigned as the First Play menu start playing the movie as soon as the
simulator starts. Press the Title Menu button to skip to the first menu. Once at the first
menu, you can access the First Play movie again by clicking the player's Stop button, then
Play.

Exiting Simulation Mode

Once you are satisfied with the simulation, you must exit the simulation mode by selecting,
in the Main Control area, either the Author (button 1) to continue working on the title, or
Export (button 3) to write the title to disc.
