Select multiple items by holding the keyboard's Ctrl button down while clicking on them. All
selected items have a green outline, except the last one, which gets a red outline, indicating
it is the master or reference. For example, selecting three buttons then pressing the left
align tool (the one furthest on the left) forces the first two buttons to left-align to the last
one selected.

Simulating the Menu

Once you have created several menus with buttons, you will want to test them and ensure
the assignments work as planned, and that there are no dead ends that you can't get out
of.

Pressing the Simulate button (the number "2" in the Main Control area) puts you in the
simulation mode. SpruceUp loads the first menu ("First Play") and a set of player controls to
use to navigate the title.

Warning: Do not have other DVD players (including the Syzygy

player) running on your system while in Simulation mode. This causes
conflicts within the system.

Once you are satisfied (or horrified!) with the way the buttons and menus interact, simply
press the Author button (the number "1" in the Main Control area) to make any needed
changes or to continue building the project, or Export (the number "3") to write the title to
disc. See the Simulation topic for details on the Simulation mode.
