Things to Know While Going Through the Tutorial
This tutorial is intended to introduce you to SpruceUp and its major features. It does not
cover every situation you may run into, but should give you a good foundation to work out
any issues you may run into.
In making SpruceUp easy to use, some duplicate functionality has been added. For
example, there are a number of ways to add a movie to the asset bin:
• Double-clicking in an empty part of the bin
• Right-clicking and selecting Add Media Asset
• Selecting File – Import from the menu
• Using the keyboard shortcut Control + Shift + I
• Simply dragging the movie in from Windows Explorer
All of these work well, but not all are covered in the tutorial. It does present a variety of
methods in order to get you familiar with their concepts. With time you will become
comfortable with the methods best suited to you.
