The "Add Media Asset" Dialog

Use the Add Media Asset dialog to add assets to the Media Gallery. Activate the dialog by
double-clicking in the Media Gallery. Optionally, open the dialog by right-clicking in the
Media Gallery then selecting Add Media Asset...
SpruceUp automatically determines the type of each asset and places it in the correct group
(Backgrounds, Buttons, or Movies).

You can import a group of items at one time by using the Shift button to select a range or
the Ctrl button to select specific items with your mouse.

Note: If you import a large number of items, and they all have a

common problem (for example, movies with incorrect resolution), they will
each have their own error dialog that you will have to cancel out of. When
unsure, try importing one of the items first, and if successful, then import
the rest as a group.

It is a standard Windows file dialog. The Files of type: pull down allows you to select
extension filters for:

All Media Files – This includes all files with the extensions of: *.m1v; *.m2v; *.mpv;

*.vbs; *.mpg; *.mpe; *.mpeg; *.mp2; *.m2p; *.avi (MPEG); *.bmp; *.psd; *.tif;
*.jpg; *.tga

Video Files – This includes all files with the extensions of: *.m1v; *.m2v; *.mpv;

*.vbs; *.mpg; *.mpe; *.mpeg; *.mp2; *.m2p; *.avi (MPEG)

Background Files – This includes all files with the extensions of: *.bmp; *.tif; *.jpg;

*.tga

Button Files – This includes all files with *.psd extensions.
All Files – All files display, regardless of extensions.

Note: SpruceUp does not support true AVI (Audio Video Interleave)

files, but does support MPEG files with the .AVI extension.
