SpruceUp User Interface

The SpruceUp user interface provides easy and intuitive access to the tools needed to create
DVD titles. This topic explains the Main Window.

Main Window

The Main Window is where the largest part of your time will be spent while creating menus.
The following graphic shows the names of the major parts. These names are used
throughout this document.

Menu Bar

This contains the pull-down menus providing standard Windows-style access to most
SpruceUp functions. See the Pull Down Menus topic for details.

The Status bar along the top shows the project's name and contains the standard window
controls (min/max/exit) on the right edge.

Main Control

These buttons select the step in the authoring process you are currently in: Authoring
(creating the title), Simulation (trying the title out before writing to disc), and Exporting
(writing the title to CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW/RAM, or the hard drive).

See the Creating Menus topic for authoring information. See the Simulation topic for
information on the Simulate mode. See the Export Interface topic for information on the
Export mode.
