Select this to register a device as a
new device in the database.
Select this to register a device by
overwriting an existing device in the
database. Only the device that is of the
same device model as that of the
connected device and whose Device
ID is empty can be selected. When
there is no such device in the
database, this option is grayed out.
When Overwrite the device is selected in the previous window, the following window appears.
Select a device in the database to
overwrite.
After a device is selected in the previous window, and there is a difference in the device tag or device address
between the connected device and the device in the Database, the following window appears. Note that this window
appears only when a HART or FF-H1 device is connected.
When the connected device is selected in the Segment Viewer (Built-in Connection mode) and Action
Register Device Maintenance Info... is executed, the following window appears.
Concerning the device tag and
device address, select the device that
is effective. If the connected device is
effective, it is registered in the
database with that value. If the
device in the database is effective,
configuration of the device tag or the
device address is made for the
connected device.
