 Update and Scan Device Cancel for HART device
Searching HART device, address currently scanned and maximum search address are
displayed. And its processing is also displayed.

 Search canceled function
When HART device search is running, search can be canceled. Devices before cancel operation
is performed are displayed even if searching is canceled in the middle.
 Relation between Segment Viewer update and DTM Works
In BRAIN, PROFIBUS and ISA100 (Infrared), while the related DTM is open, Segment Viewer
update is not effective. Close DTM and update Segment Viewer.
 Display Device Search Processing Status
During search of a PROFIBUS device, the address currently being scanned and the scan start
and scan end addresses, or a range to be scanned, are displayed on FieldMate’s status bar to
show you which address is being scanned.

Addresses to be searched are counted up.
The address currently being scanned, scan start address,
and scan end address are displayed on the status bar.

The information of each address to be displayed is as follows:
• Address: Shows the address being scanned now.
• Scan start address: Shows a start address set in PROFIBUS Interface Configuration from
the Tool menu.
• Scan end address: Shows an end address set in PROFIBUS Interface Configuration from
the Tool menu.
