The following is the description of the menus in the menu bar. The items indicated with (*)
in the table show the default value immediately after installation. If any change is made,
the configuration is retained (saved).

Menu Description
File New FDT Project... Starts DTM Works and creates a new FDT project.
Import FDT Project... Imports FDT projects from external files.
Import Device Maintenance Info… Imports device maintenance information from external
files.
Export Device Maintenance Info… Exports device maintenance information to external
files.
Export History Exports history to external files.
Export Serial No. ... Exports the serial numbers registered in the device
maintenance information to a file.
Exit Exits FieldMate.
View Status Bar Selects whether or not to display the status bar.
(*Displayed by default)
Scan Device Cancel Stops searching further address of HART device.
Update Updates contents displayed in the window.
Init Current View Column Initialize the alignment of parameter items on ISA100
(Gateway) and HART (Adaptor) in Segment Viewer.
Clear Current View Clear the device of ISA100 (Gateway) and HART
(Adaptor) in Segment Viewer.
Search Simple Search Search the device of ISA100 (Gateway) and HART
(Adaptor) in Segment Viewer.
Multi Condition
Search
Size Large Changes the size of the icons/characters in the
Segment Viewer to large.
Medium (*) Changes the size of the icons/characters above to
medium.
Small Changes the size of the icons/characters above to
small.
Layout Detail (*) Displays details in the Segment Viewer window.
Icon Displays only icons in Segment Viewer window.
Device List by Addresses

Displays in the order of device addresses in the
Segment Viewer window.
by Tags Displays in the order of device tags in the Segment
Viewer window.
Address Format Decimal (*) Displays device addresses in decimal numbers in the
Segment Viewer window.
Hexadecimal Displays device addresses in hexadecimal numbers in
the Segment Viewer window.
Action Device Viewer… Starts up Device Viewer window.
Checks the current detailed operation status of the
device.
Device Setup Starts Built-in DTM or the DTM Works or Parameter
Manager window.
Assigned DTM... Starts the DTM assigned to the device in the DTM
Works window.
Select DTM... Displays the Device DTM Selection dialog box and
starts the selected device DTM in the DTM Works
window.
Parameter Manager... Starts the Parameter Manager window.
DD Menu... Starts the DD Menu window.
