F-1-1-4 Importing and Exporting Device Maintenance
Information
 Overview
Device maintenance information can be exported to an external file (1 file for 1 device) and also
imported.
 Export
When exporting, an option to export as templates is available. If the option is selected, only the
following information (the items that can be applied as templates to other devices) is exported.
- Device Information (Basic Information)
However, the following items are cleared when exporting.
Device Tag, Device ID, Device Tag Comment, Communication Path, and Address
- Device Information (Block Information)
However, Block Tag is cleared when exporting.
- Device Information (DTM Information)
- Document Link
- Device Parameter
- DTM Information
* 1: As for Document Link, only the link information is available to import/export. The document itself is not included.
* 2: All the items of device information (management information) are cleared and then exported when converted to template form.
 Import
When importing, a preview is available before actually importing.
When there already exists overlapping device maintenance information such as Device ID, only
one of the following can be selected.
(1) Abort the import.
(2) Delete all old device maintenance information and import new device maintenance
information.
TIP
In this case, the History will be deleted as well.
