Setting Device Station Address for PROFIBUS Devices
TIP
If device is equipped with hardware switch, it needs to be disabled to perform the following operation.
1. Start the PROFIBUS device DTM to change the address.
2. Select FDT Topology from the View menu, and then select the device DTM in the FDT
Topology area and disconnect it.

3. Select PROFIdtm DPV1 in the FDT Topology area, and then right-click Additional Functions
Set Device Station Address to display the Settings window, and change the address.

TIP
Error message “Failed to set new address” may show up, depending on the connected devices. However
operation can continue.
