 FOUNDATION fieldbus Blocks Settings
Selecting FOUNDATION fieldbus H1 Block Setting from the Tool menu opens the following
screen. This screen enables you to select which of the blocks of the FOUNDATION fieldbus H1
device to display/set.

The read permission of the
resource block and TB
(transducer block) is always set.
Both the read and write
permissions can be set for all
blocks except the above.
If the read permission is set, the
corresponding function block tab
is displayed.
Displays a list of the function blocks of the device.
The settings made in this dialog box are applied to all
devices of the same model.

 Custom Tab Settings
Selecting Custom Tab Settings from the Tool menu opens the following screen. This screen
enables you to define multiple custom tabs and the label names to be displayed in the tabs.

The Number of sheets edit box enables you to specify the number of custom tab sheets. The
minimum value is 1, the maximum is 5, and the default is 1. Entering this value changes the
number of label name input fields. The default for the label name is “Custom” in the first field and
the names in the second and following fields are “CustomN” in which numbers 2 to 5 are entered
in N. Up to 32 characters can be set for the label name.
Now that multiple custom tabs can be defined, the Send to Custom Tab menu item is used to
specify the send destination.
