Note: “Start up DTM Works” in the following description indicates either to start up DTM Works by selecting Action → Device Setup, or
by selecting Action Assigned DTM or Select DTM.
Select the Connected Device in Segment Viewer and Start up DTM Works in
BIC Mode
1. In the case of PROFIBUS and BRAIN devices, a window is displayed to select the database
device.
2. Starts up DTM Works in the BIC mode.
3. DTM Works displays a window to select the DTM data. (*1)
4. DTM Works displays the DTM Online window in the connected state.

The selection window appears only when the relevant device is registered to the database and the DTM data is stored in the
device maintenance information. If there is no DTM data, the selection window does not appear and the DTM data is not set. The
process goes to step (4).
