to the service provider’s outer tag. The Tag Protocol Identifier (TPID)
of the tunnel port is used for the outer tag. The default is for the
standard ethertype value 0x8100, but may be changed to a
non-standard value using the switchport dot1q-ethertype command
(page 32-29). The tunnel port’s native VLAN is used to process
inbound packets. This can be modified using the switchport native
vlan, command (page 32-13). And the priority bits set for the tunnel
port are copied to the outer tag, unless this feature has been
overridden by the qinq priority map command (page 32-26).
