FIL,D: Deleting Files

Function

This command allows you to delete files from the selected
internal or external memory.

Command Format

File index number:
• In the range 0-99: With file index number=n,

then file “n+1” will be deleted. Warning! If the
deleted file is not the last one in memory, all the
files that follow the deleted file will have their
index number re-ordered after deletion of the
file. The index of a file is as listed when using
the $PASHQ,FLS command.

• =999: All the files in memory will be deleted,

except for the following: G-file in use, D-file in
use, ring file buffer, ATL file in use, all directo-
ries, all .log files excluding ATL log files not in
use.
