Position Command, Jog

Position

Purpose

The position command that is the result of Jog commands from the Jog input(s), Jog
Fkey programs, and MOVV commands.

Syntax

variable = PJOG

variable

The variable may be a nonvolatile variable Gn, a volatile vari-
able Vn, or a system variable.

Remarks

The value in this variable represents the position command generated by the jog com-
mand generator. The jog command generator is responsible for creating jog commands
and MOVV moves. Jog commands can be initiated from the following sources:

• Jog inputs, if assigned

• Fkey programs

• Host Language Command

• MOVV instructions

• JOGF or JOGR
