POSN
Position Feedback
Position
Purpose
Feedback position in user units, scaled by the Scale parameter.
Syntax
variable = POSN
variable
The variable may be a nonvolatile variable Gn, a volatile vari-
able Vn, or a system variable.
Remarks
POSN is the position of the encoder that is currently being used as the feedback
encoder (typically encoder 1). The CONFIG menu establishes which encoder is cur-
rently the feedback encoder. The position of that encoder is read using the correspond-
ing SCALE to determine POSN.
