5. Removing
the
Battery
Interconn
ect Board
Assembly
Tools Required
• Orange stick
Setup
1. Remove the Front Panel Assembly.
2. Remove the Upper Housing Assembly
3. Remove the System Board Battery Cable.
To reinstall the Battery Interconnect Board,
reverse the steps.
NOTE For Step 4, remember to carefully remove
the cable from the Charger Assembly
when disassembling and reinstalling it.
Step 1: Identify the Battery Interconnect Board. Step 2: Remove the wide laminate cable from the
high voltage module connector by lifting the
cable vertically.
Step 3: Remove the push pin and small insert
collar. Step 4: Rotate the unit around so that the rear of
the unit faces you. Rotate the Battery Interconnect
Board upwards toward the front of the device.
Hold the board vertically while removing the 10-
pin laminate cable from connectors by lifting the
connector lock.
