To Open the Hood to Position 2:
1. slide latch, 2.
2. Push up on the slide latch.
3. Release the handle, 1. The gas springs will raise
the hood to the second position.

CLOSING THE HOOD
To Close the Hood from Position 1:
Pull down on the handle, 1, until the hood is in the
closed position.

To Close the Hood from Position 2:
1. Push up on the slide latch, 1. The hood may need
to be raised slightly to release the latch.
2. Pull down on the handle, 2, until the hood is in the
closed position.
3. Pull up on handle, 2, to be sure the hood is
properly latched.
