Advanced diagnostics via diagnostics PDO (CAN2_OUT)

Via CAN2_OUT a diagnostics process data telegram (PDO) with display values concerning
the mains conditions and the internal state machine can be sent from the power supply
module. The diagnostics PDO consists of 8 bytes which can be assigned with variables.

ƒ

The 8 bytes of the PDO are assigned with variables via code C0390/1 ... 8.

ƒ

Depending on the byte size of the variables selected, it may happen that the
variables in the last subcodes do not become effective anymore.

ƒ

In C0391 the assignment in percent (0 ... 100 %) of the 8 bytes of the PDO is shown.

ƒ

For sending the diagnostics PDO the CAN bus has to be in the "Operational" state
and the cycle time for CAN2_OUT > 0 ms (C0356/2) has to be set.

3

Counter of the zero crossings per second (frequency measurement of V

L1L2

)

l

The zero crossings of the mains input voltage V

L1L2

are counted over the

interval of one second.

l

For a 50 Hz mains therefore 100 zero crossings result, for a 60 Hz mains 120
zero crossings.

l

If the characteristic of the variables is shown graphically, a saw−tooth profile
develops.

4

Mains synchronisation n−times outside the limits (evaluation of V

sd

and V

sq

)

l

For the evaluation of the mains input voltage the voltages L1, L2 and L3 are
transformed from alpha/beta to d/q and are scaled to the r.m.s. value of the
mains input voltage.

l

If the mains conditions are stable, the value of V

sd

will set to approx. 350,

and the value of V

sq

to approx. 0.

l

If the limit values of V

sd

or V

sq

are exceeded or too low, a counter is

incremented. If the limit values have been exceeded for the fourth time,
mains synchronism is no longer ensured and an LP1 error message is output.

Internal status bits:

l

Bit 0 = 1: Mains voltage since switch−on (24 V) not OK.

l

Bit 1 = 1: An LP1 error was detected.

l

Bit 2: Switching status of the IGBT (0 = "chopping")

l

Bit 3 = 1: Saving of parameter set permitted.

l

Bit 4 = 1: A warning is active.

l

Bit 5 = 1: A message is active.

l

Bit 6 = 1: Calculation for mains synchronisation started.

l

Bit 7 = 1: Mains synchronisation is active.
