Configure Axis Properties
Follow these steps to configure axis properties.
1.
Right-click an axis in the Controller Organizer under your
configured Motion Group and choose Properties.
The Axis Properties dialog box opens.
2.
Click the Motor category.
The Motor Device Specification
dialog box opens.
3.
From the Data Source pull-down
menu, choose Catalog Number.
4.
Click Change Catalog.
The Change Catalog Number
dialog box opens.
5.
Select the motor catalog number appropriate for your
application.
For the Widg-O-matic machine example, the
MPL-B310P-M motor is used for both axes.
To verify the motor catalog number, refer to the motor name
plate.
6.
Click OK to close the Change Catalog Number dialog box.
7.
Click Apply.
Motor data specific to your motor appears in the Motor category.
