Host

Type

The entry in this field should reflect the type of device the host expects to
communicate with. If T-27 emulation (TTY terminal attached to UNISYS host) is
used, the entry must be Unisys T-27. If TTY emulation (T-27 terminal attached to
a TTY host) is used, then Unisys T-27 may not be selected. The selections are
shown in Table 6-1.

RTS/CTS

Control

This parameter controls the RTS (request to send) and CTS (clear to send)
signaling as shown in Table 6-2. The DTE/DCE setting of the port determines
which lead is effected by this parameter.

Terminal

Type

The entry in this field should reflect the type of device attached to the port. If T-27
emulation (TTY terminal attached to UNISYS host) is used, the entry can not be
Unisys T-27 or dumb async. If TTY emulation (T-27 terminal attached to a TTY
host) is used, then Unisys T-27 must be selected. The selections are shown in
Table 6-3.

Drop DTR

If DCD Drops

This parameter applies to dial-up applications. When set to Y (yes) DTR performs
an on-to-off transition for 500 milliseconds, then returns to the on state. The
selections are Y (yes) and N (no)

Device Type

The setting of this parameter specifies whether the port is connected to a TTY host
or TTY terminal device. The selections are H or T
