Host Response Timeout

The Host Response Timeout should match the timeout parameter set in the host.
The unit makes sure that a response is always sent to the host before this
parameter expires.

The values for this parameter are in 10-millisecond increments. A value that is not
a factor of 10 rounds down to the nearest 10-millisecond factor.
Example: A value of 505 rounds down to 500 milliseconds.

The selection is 0 to 655350, 3000.

Turnaround Delay

The turnaround delay is the time, in milliseconds, the unit waits between the
receipt of a message and the transmission of the response. If the connected device
seems to be missing messages because they are coming back too quickly, increase
this value. Use a value of 10 for sync lines, and a value of 0 for async.

The values for this parameter are in 10-millisecond increments. A value that is not
a factor of 10 rounds down to the nearest 10-millisecond factor.
Example: A value of 15 rounds down to 10 milliseconds.

The selections are 0 to 2550, 10.

Maximum Messages Queued

The value in this field indicates the total number of messages that can be
accumulated for a station before a WACK is transmitted to the sending device. The
selections are 1 to 32, 4.

RTS/CTS Control

This parameter controls the RTS (request to send) and CTS (clear to send)
signaling. The DTE /DCE setting of the port determines which lead is affected by
this parameter as shown in Table 9-3.

Acknowledgment Passing

Acknowledgment Passing refers to the Uniscope host port's ability to send a
message in conjunction with an ACK. In other words, when the host sends a
message to the TXPORT device and the unit has a message queued for the host,
the unit may transmit the ACK and the message to the host as one transmission.
The selections are Y (yes) and N (no).

O (on)

RTS is always on.

CTS is always on.

D (dynamic)

RTS is on during
data transmit.

CTS is on in
response to RTS.

F (floating)

RTS is not used.

CTS is not used.
