IP Static Route

Table Parameters

There are some situation where a router cannot learn a route using ordinary means
like RIP or OSPF. This may arise again for security matters. Then it is possible to
add a route to the route table of a router.

Again, this menu is always associated with a circuit. To add or modify a static
route from the main static route menu, press F3 or F2 and Figure 18-8 appears. To
list all configured static routes, press F4.

Defaults are shown underlined.

Line Module

This field indicates the line module number of the port currently displayed.
Entering a different line module number and pressing F10 transfers the screen to
the same port on the new line module.

Static Route Number

Each Static Route Number must be unique and range from 1 to 255. The Static
Route Number must be associated with a Circuit Number configured in the Circuit
Configuration menu shown in IP Router Parameters Screen on page 291.

Enable This Static Route

This option enables this route entry. The default value is Yes.
