Poll and Select Timeout

This is the time, in milliseconds, the controller waits for a response to either a Poll
or a Select. The default period is 3 seconds (the standard timeout value for an IBM
host using a Bisync protocol). Do not change this without consulting TXPORT
Technical Support.

The values for this parameter are in 10-millisecond increments. A value that is not
a factor of 10 rounds down to the nearest 10-millisecond factor.
Example: A value of 505 rounds down to 500 milliseconds.

The selections are 0 to 655350, 3000.

End-to-End Protocol Conversion

This parameter is used to specify that a Non-Bisync host port is connected to the
Bisync terminal port. When set to yes, the proper conversion will take place. The
selections are Y (yes) and N (no).

End-to-End Flow Control

Since the Bisync port can buffer multiple messages, it must be able to
communicate to the other end of the link that all available buffers are being used
and no more messages should be accepted. This field should always be set to Y if
this port is logically connected to a BSC host port. It should be set to N when this
port is logically connected to a non-Bisync host or terminal port. The selections are
Y (yes) and N (no).
