Modulo Type

The Modulo Type parameter indicates how the information frames are to be
numbered. To use numbers 0 through 7, select Modulo 8. To use numbers 0
through 127, select Modulo 128. The selections are Modulo 8 or Modulo 128.

Window Size

The window size parameter indicates the maximum number of unacknowledged
frames that may exist on a link. The selections are decimal 1 to 7 if Modulo 8 and
1 to 127, 7 if Modulo 128.

T1 Timer

The T1 Timer parameter is the message timeout, in seconds, for messages on the
link. This parameter applies only to Primary ports.

The selections are decimal 1 to 255, 3.

Device type

The type of device parameter determines the personality of the port. If the port is
connected to a host port, this parameter must be set to Secondary. For connection
to downline cluster controllers, it must be set to Primary. The selections are
Primary or Secondary.

Duplex Exchange

Duplex Exchange indicates that a primary port can transmit a data frame to one
control unit while receiving a data frame from another control unit on an SDLC line.
The selections are Y (yes) and N (no).

Switched Link

This parameter specifies if the corresponding link is a dial-up link. When
configured as a switched link, the port sends an XID command when the link
becomes active and activates only the Device which answers.

This parameter applies only to Primary ports. A secondary port always responds to
an XID command with the address of the first Device configured. The selections
are Y (yes) and N (no).

Poll Timer

This parameter specifies a turnaround delay, in 10-millisecond increments, between
each poll sequence. This parameter applies only to Primary ports. The selections
are a decimal 1 to 255.
