change the Arming polarity. The current input polarity state is displayed and will be updated when changed.
This setting is global, so it will remain the same regardless of which program you are currently using.
Access from the Controller:
From the
Main screen
, press the “GLOBAL” button. Press the “DOWN” arrow button repeatedly until the "Set
Input Polarity" menu selection is highlighted and then press the “ENTER” button. Using the “LEFT” and ”RIGHT”
arrow buttons adjust the setting. Press the “SAVE” button to accept the new setting or press the “ESC” button to
exit with no change.
Access from the Computer Program:
From the
Status screen
, press the "SETUP" button. The "Input Polarity" settings is found in the "Input Polarity"
dialog box under the "Options" Tab. Click either the "Ground" or "+12 Volt" button to select the input polarity of
each input.

Pulses Per Degrees
This setting determines the number of tachometer pulses per revolution of the crankshaft. The following list
shows the available settings for this input. Refer to
Appendix C: Tables and Diagrams
for a table of
recommended RPM pulse counts for different applications.

1 pulse per 720 degrees (or 0.5 pulse per 360 degrees)
•
1 pulse per 360 degrees
•
2 pulses per 360 degrees
•
3 pulses per 360 degrees
•
4 pulses per 360 degrees
•
5 pulses per 360 degrees
•
6 pulses per 360 degrees
Access from the Controller:
From the
Main screen

"Pulses Per Degrees" menu selection is highlighted and then press the “ENTER” button. Use the “UP” and
”DOWN” arrow buttons to adjust the setting. Press the “ENTER” button to accept the new setting or press the
“BACK” button to exit with no change.
