Error scenarios
11.6.10 Logbook message: "Ethernet cable connected"
When an unplugged bus cable is plugged in again into the first EtherCAT node, this
message is entered into the logbook of the industrial PC. The EtherCAT connection has
been re-established.
As the EtherCAT slave sync managers do not receive any messages, a time-out expires. This
information is sent to the master.
Error notifications in the »PLC Designer«
In the "ETHERCATMaster Status" visualisation template of the »PLC Designer«, the
following error notifications are highlighted in green (information) or red (fault):
