*ESR?

Description:

Return the current value of the Standard Event Status Register, then clear the register. This register
has bits assigned to a number of possible events or conditions of the instrument. When the event
occurs, the corresponding bit is latched. The register value is read using this command. Individual
bits may be enabled or disabled for SRQ generation using the ESE mask (see *ESE command).
The following table shows the bit assignments in the Standard Event Status Register:

Return the instrument identification string. This string contains the manufacturer, model number,
serial number and firmware version number.

< Mfgr, Model#, Serial#, Version# >
