5 Function keys CHAN/(NEXT) key. Selects the next channel in sequence and enables the
display and adjustment of on/off, vertical scale, vertical center and calibration
for each channel; by extension enables unit selection, offset corrections and
mode dependent parameters. (PC kbd equivalent: Alt-C)
TIME/(STAT) key. Selects timebase and horizontal position of displayed
waveforms. In optional statistical mode selects the horizontal probability scale,
the horizontal position of distribution functions and other parameters. (PC kbd
equivalent: Alt-T)
TRIG key. Specifies trigger mode, source, level, polarity and holdoff and
selects B trigger menu. In optional statistical mode controls gating. (PC kbd
equivalent: Alt-G)
MARK key. Positions the selected marker on the horizontal axis. By extension
controls marker channel assignment and marker math. (PC kbd equivalent: Alt-
M)
REF key. Positions the selected reference lines on the vertical axis and by
extension controls channel assignment and tracking. (PC kbd equivalent: Alt-R)
SHIFT key. Future expansion and message directed use.
MEAS key. Entry of measurement frequency and controls channel tracking of
frequency. By extension sets up auto measure parameter display. (PC kbd
equivalent: Alt-E)
UTIL key. Selects instrument status report, GPIB remote configuration, disk
file management, printing and clock functions. (PC kbd equivalent: Alt-U)
CAL key. Controls internal I GHz Calibrator. (PC kbd equivalent: Alt-L)
PRGM key. Stores and recalls instrument setup data, reference waveforms, and
trace data to internal and external memory. (PC kbd equivalent: Alt-P)
DISP key. Controls the appearance of the displays, including back-lighting ,
color, trace style, grid type, color and persistence. (PC kbd equivalent: Alt-D)
SPCL key. Reports sensor parameters and provides servicing information and
functions. (PC kbd equivalent: Alt-S)
