Installing and starting up the "CrossCutter" prepared solution

Click code C4135/000 to open the application control word.

Set the following bits in the order indicated below to start length-controlled operation:

Bit 15 Accept the newly calculated cutting length
Bit 16

Accept the newly calculated reject length

Bit 17

Accept the newly calculated test length

Bit 14

Start/stop the cross cutter

If the cross cutter is not in the initial position, the cross-cutter drum will execute an additional movement to reach the
initial position (starting position). This process is displayed in code C3505/000 with the message "lock to cam busy
operation (51)".

Once the cross cutter reaches the initial position, or if it is already there, the system will switch to cam operation; it is
now coupled to the master value. This state is displayed in code C3505/000 with the message cam operation . If a
master value is set at this point via the DFIN signal, the cross cutter will follow it.

Reset the following bit to stop length-controlled operation:

Bit 14

Start/stop the cross cutter


Once bit 14 has been reset, the cross-cutter knife will move to its initial position (starting position) and stop there. As
soon as the cross cutter stops in the initial position, the system will decouple from the master value.
The system will return to standby and this state will be displayed in code C3505/000.

You can switch from standby to length-controlled operation at any time (see the description in Step 7).
