6.3 Error messages
Where error messaged are concerned, the prepared solutions draw a distinction between what
are known as system error messages (see Chapter 6.3.1) and process-based error messages
(advanced error messages, see Chapter 6.3.2 and Chapter 6.3.3).
6.3.1 System error messages
System error messages are generated in the target system's operating system in response to all
impermissible drive-based states (e.g. overcurrent, undervoltage, errors in the feedback system,
etc.).
The following system error messages can occur on the ServoPLC:

Actual short circuit between motor
phases Disconnect the motor and check for short circuits
between all winding connections.
Disconnect the supply cable and check for short
circuits between phases.
Run the inverter off-load: It ought to be possible to
reset the error at this point. If it is not, an internal
short circuit has occurred => Replace the controller
or submit it for repair. 11 OC1
High capacitive charging current on
the motor cable Use a shorter, low-capacitance motor cable.
Install an output choke at the controller's output
phases.
Actual earth fault on one of the motor
phases Disconnect the motor and check the winding
connections for earth faults.
Disconnect the supply cable and check for short
circuits between phases and earth.
Run the inverter off-load: It ought to be possible to
reset the error at this point. If it is not, an internal
earth fault has occurred => Replace the controller or
