6.2 Checking for Errors
When the MPE720 cannot go online with the Machine Controller, the Error Generating Information Dia-
log Box will be displayed. This information can be used to identify the error.
Connection Errors
The following Error Generating Information Dialog Box will be displayed if the IP address of the PC is
automatically assigned or if the IP address of the PC is not set correctly due to the communications set-
tings or communications process.
Communications Errors
The following Error Generating Information Dialog Box will be displayed if the IP address of the Machine
Controller is not set correctly in the communications settings.
