NT8D17 Conference/TDS card

Switch and jumper settings are used to select the companding law and
to change the conference attenuation PAD levels. These PAD levels are
used if prompt CPAD = 1 in LD97. The J1 connector on the faceplate is
reserved for future use.

You can enable or disable a warning tone for conference calls. When
the option is enabled, the tone lets callers know they are entering a
conference call. The switch for this option is preset to disable the warning
tone.
