System Settings - Backup
These are settings mostly used in a Server/Backup situation, although some options may be
interesting in a single Server system as well.
BACKUP MODE
Sets start mode of your choice for this system.
• Always Server
• Always Backup
• Server/Backup depends on startup order
ALWAYS START UP WITH SPECIFIC PLAY FILE
Select any play file to be auto-loaded at startup, skipping the startup screen. Suitable for
museum and event applications. You can also select the option "Use last saved file".
Auto-transfer play to Backup
When checked, the Server will always transfer its play to the Backup when a new play is
opened.
Bypass startup screen
Sets the system to boot directly into the lighting control software and load the last saved
show - without having to pass the Welcome screen. This was designed for backup systems
and Light Servers so that they can self-boot, and it may be desirable also for any situation
where the system settings are not needed at power-up.
