The list of interfaces that are designated for forwarding (Fwd:) and filtering (Flt:).

8.6.41 show mac-address-table multicast

This command displays the Multicast Forwarding Database (MFDB) information. If the command is entered with no parameter,

the entire table is displayed. This is the same as entering the optional all parameter. The user can display the table entry for one

MAC Address by specifying the MAC address as an optional parameter.

Format

show mac-address-table multicast [<macaddr> | all]

Mac Address -

A unicast MAC address for which the switch has forwarding and or filtering information. The format is 6 or

8 two-digit hexadecimal numbers that are separated by colons, for example 01:23:45:67:89:AB. In an IVL system the

MAC address will be displayed as 8 bytes.

Type -

This displays the type of the entry. Static entries are those that are configured by the end user. Dynamic entries are

added to the table as a result of a learning process or protocol.

Component -

The component that is responsible for this entry in the Multicast Forwarding Database. Possible values are

IGMP Snooping, GMRP, and Static Filtering.

Description -

The text description of this multicast table entry.

Interfaces -

The list of interfaces that are designated for forwarding (Fwd:) and filtering (Flt:).

Forwarding Interfaces -

The resultant forwarding list is derived from combining all the component's forwarding interfaces

and removing the interfaces that are listed as the static filtering interfaces.

8.6.42 show mac-address-table static

This command displays the Static MAC Filtering information for all Static MAC Filters. If <all> is selected, all the Static MAC

Filters in the system are displayed. If a macaddr is entered, a vlan must also be entered and the Static MAC Filter information

will be displayed only for that MAC address and VLAN.

show mac-address-table static {<macaddr> <vlanid> | all}

MAC Address -

Is the MAC Address of the static MAC filter entry.

VLAN ID -

Is the VLAN ID of the static MAC filter entry.

Source Port(s) -

Indicates the source port filter set's slot and port(s).

Destination Port(s) -

Indicates the destination port filter set's slot and port(s).

8.6.43 show mac-address-table staticfiltering

This command displays the Static Filtering entries in the Multicast Forwarding Database (MFDB) table.
