Enable or Disable the On-line Update Feature
WARNING Doing an on-line update is the responsibility of the user. It is highly
recommended that an on-line change is not performed unless
absolutely necessary as it could reduce the safety integrity of the
system while doing the change. Also, if the changes are not carried out
correctly it can stop the application. Before doing an on-line update
alternative safety measures should be implemented and be present for
the duration of the process. - Refer to the AADvance Safety Manual
Doc. No: 553630 for guidance on the precautions necessary when
doing an On-line update. .
The default setting is for the on-line update to be disabled. It can be enabled as follows:
1) Insert the Program Enable Key.
2) Select a resource and right click on the Resource Header
3) Select the Properties option.
4) Select Settings Advanced.
5) Select the Enable online I/O Device Update check box.
