8) Select both Network instances.
With this configuration the SNCP binding driver will send the variable over both
physical networks and the consumer will continue receiving a variable in the event
of a single network failure.
You can combine both approaches by setting up dual IP addresses on the second
network on the same subnet (See: the procedures in topic "Set Up Multiple SNCP
Networks").
SNCP Binding Error Variables
To test values of binding error variables you should create the following defined words
in the dictionary for your project:
Error Message Code Description
SNCP_KVB_ERR_BINDING_READY 0x00 Normal Steady State Data Exchange
SNCP_KVB_ERR_BINDING_IN_PRO
CESS 0x01 Producer and consumer are in the process
of connecting
SNCP_KVB_ERR_UPD_IN_PROCESS 0x02 Producer and Consumer are in the process
of re-connecting following an on-line-
change update
SNCP_KVB_ERR_UPD_TIMEOUT 0x03 Producer and consumer did not re-connect
within "Update Timeout" milliseconds
following an on-line change update.
