TROUBLESHOOTING AND COMPONENT REPLACEMENT

ERROR CODE E4000 Data communication error.
Main causes include:
1. When receiving data from vision sensor:
–Time out occurred, data is not received within the specified time.
–Robot is stopped by HOLD, ABORT or PCABORT during data communication.
–Robot stopped by the CONTROL key or ENTER key from a PC keyboard during
data communication
2. During Host Communication I, data is not received within the specified time after
ENQ code is sent.
3. Communication error occurred during PC terminal, floppy disk, or PC card interaction
with the AS software.

Check communication line, and re-execute.
⇒
Ensure communication protocol used for Host Communication I is correct.
⇒
Check the communication cable, and replace as necessary.

ERROR CODE E4001 Data reading error.
Discrepency in data between when it is written to a PC terminal, floppy disk or PC card
and when it is read back from the storage media for verification.

Re-execute data reading .

If this error recurs, replace the storage media, 1KA/1KF boards, harness, etc.

ERROR CODE E4002 Data transfer error.
Error occurred during data writing to a PC terminal, floppy disk or PC card.

ERROR CODE E4003 Unexpected error in file access.
During floppy disk or PC card interaction with the AS software, an undefined communi-
cation error occurred.
