TROUBLESHOOTING AND COMPONENT REPLACEMENT

ERROR CODE E5021 Extend pos. monitor error.
Occurs when the input signal for the extend operation of a 2-stroke retractable gun is not
received.
Main causes include:
1. Defective weld gun, weld controller/timer, cable, etc.
2. Defective 1KA/1GW (1HW) boards, harness, etc.
3. Defective interlock circuit.
4. Incorrect extend position input signal setting.
5. Noise related malfunction.

Check gun, weld controller/timer, cable, etc. and repair/replace as necessary.

Check 1KA/1GW (1HW) boards and harness and replace as necessary.
⇒
Ensure the extend position input signal setting is correct.
⇒
Check for noise malfunction and shield integrity.

ERROR CODE E5022 Current gun retract position differs from a destination.
In the check mode, retractable gun output signals are monitored and compared to clamp
condition code and open/close data for a specific step. If the data does not match, this
error is displayed.

Ensure settings in clamp condition code and open/close data match output signal
settings, check operation of gun with the clamp key.

ERROR CODE E5023 Wear is abnormal, cannot take measurement.
When executing tip wear measurement, the moving or fixed tip wear exceeds the al-
lowed value.

Replace the worn gun tip .

Ensure tip wear measurement data is correct.
